This release from San Diego’s Republican Mayor Jerry Sanders is moving beyond belief and as inspiring as anything I have heard for a long time. I think all of us on the left would like to believe that if Republican looked into their hearts, they would do the right thing, be it about the war, health care or about Gay Marriage.
One of the most amazing things about this speech and this change of heart is that it has barely been covered in the supposedly liberal media. NPR didn’t even cover it for god sakes.
