Recently, WDET, our local NPR station in Detroit, has started to carry the The Tavis Smiley Show. The hour long show features features and commentary on issues that face the African-American community.
Despite it’s liberal bent, NPR is so white that is great to be able to listen to thoughtful and interesting programming that deals with the myriad of issues that face the non-white community.
