There’s a winter storm warning out and it looks like we’ll get our first real snow of the season with 6 to 8″ predicted by noon tomorrow. I picked up a new shovel tonight and so I’ll be ready to go in the morning.

The kids are out in California to spend Christmas with their Grandparents in Santa Cruz. Tonight Sasha called and when I told her that we were about to have a snow storm, she sighed and told me that she was jealous because it didn’t seem right to have it be 68° during Christmas time. That’s my girl, there she is out by the ocean in beautiful California, and she’s wishing she could be back in snowy Michigan.
