Verison is choosing not to let the abortion rights group NARAL send communications to their members using text messaging in their Txt4Choice program. Citing a stance on not allowing messages from any group “that seeks to promote an agenda or distribute content that, in its discretion, may be seen as controversial or unsavory to any of our users,” Verison is using their legal rights to curtain free speech.
As time goes on, the idea the constitution is being destroyed by the right is going from being a paranoid thought to a reality.
If you have Verison as your carrier and care about free speech, let them know that their decision on NARAL’s messages is un-American.
