The arrogance of the Bush administration continues to stun me, this time with Ashcroft’s refusal to provide copies of a memo that reportedly states the president has the right to order torture in his role as commander in chief. But that doesn’t mean that I’m complaining about this latest bit of Republican imperial swagger, in fact, it’s amazing to watch the Bush clan dig a deeper and deeper grave for themselves.

My hope is that people who support Bush on issues such as abortion and Gay rights will be pushed to the point where morally they cannot support an administration who believes they can do what they want, whenever they want.
