Rumsfeld caught on camera

I could never understand ongoing charges by conservatives that the American media was left-leaning. It was not so long ago that Clinton’s life was dissected bit by bit by a media that was eager to tear him apart limb by limb. And then, during the last election and the ensuing first three years of the Bush administration, the media paid little or no attention to serious issues and charges related to how Bush and his administration have taken care of business. r

Under the Clinton administration, lies about sexual relationships were grounds for impeachment. Under the Bush administration, lies that resulted in a costly and bloody war went mostly unheeded until the past few months.r

And because the press has gone so easy on Bush and company in the past, it was with great glee that I watched the following video where Donald Rumsfeld is caught redhanded.r

I actually yelled and pumped my fist when I saw this for the first time. Let’s just hope that the media continues to press Bush and his boys to back their claims with facts.
