I’d first read about the whole Bush AWOL issue a few years ago, and I was always surprised that no one seemed to make an issue with the fact that Bush had been AWOL for over a year when he was a member of the Air National Guard back in the 70’s. And so I’m thrilled to see so much attention finally being paid to this growing story.r

Perhaps the AWOL story will be the thing that brings Bush down, especially now that it’s likely that in the 2004 election, Bush will face a bona fide war hero. Amazing, lying to the Amercian people about the war in Iraq was not enough to bring him down, but it matters not what does Bush in, what matters is that he’s gone come next January.r
