As a resident of Ann Arbor, MI, I was interested to see that on the front of the “Life” section in today’s USAToday, there’s an interesting article on scavenging for furniture on the streets of Ann Arbor. In the article, the author scours the streets of college neighborhoods at the end of the semester looking for furniture to furnish an apartment.

Strangely enough, as I was walking home from the cafe where I had been reading the article, I came across a great lounge chair sitting in front of a house, which I of course picked up moments later with my van.
